Description

The ballistic protection package for the Ukrtak tactical carbine is designed to protect the body or the vehicle from shrapnel. It can be used in all 3 sections of the mattress. For self-installation, install in the central section of the mat. The ballistic component is contained in a vacuum bag, which increases the service life and eliminates the effect of water hammer when wet.

The UKRTAC armor package withstood a 9×18 pistol bullet (velocity 345±1 m/s) with a spherical head with a non-heat-strengthened steel core in a steel jacket, lined with tomahawk, 57-H-181s cartridge (Makarov pistol) and 9×19 Luger bullet (velocity 409±1 m/s) in a full-metal copper alloy jacket with a hemispherical nose with a soft (lead) core, according to DSTU 8782:2018 “Personal protective equipment. Body armor.”, for protection class 1. The depth of unimpeded deformation does not exceed 22 mm.

Preventive measures. Do not dry on surfaces and conditions where the temperature exceeds 80 degrees Celsius (proximity to open flames, on stoves, etc.)
