The new line of 3M Peltor Comtac VI NIB headphones provides additional enhancements to the already created 3M Peltor Comtac XPI series. The 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VI NIB headset features Natural Interaction Behavior (NIB) technology for close-range communication.
The Mission Audio Profile (MAP) audio profile allows you to adapt and optimize the ambient listening function for different scenarios. The headset protects you from noise levels up to 28 dB and conveniently combines with other protective equipment and is worn as a complex headband.

NIB – Natural Interaction Behavior provides natural face-to-face communication in noisy environments and enables communication with people in close proximity in full duplex. Dependent on the situation awareness function.
MAP – Mission Audio Profiles allow adaptation and optimization of ambient listening function to various scenarios (such as patrolling and surveillance, etc.). Designed for compatibility with helmets, protective vests, and other equipment.
External RX/TX communication is independent of the headset battery charge, in safe mode. In case of battery discharge or other power failure, external communication will continue to work. The earplug mode helps you maintain situational awareness in combination with earplugs, and the headset saves energy by automatically turning off when not in use.
